Stephen Abas scored his second MMA victory last night at the Tachi Palace Fighting event in Lemoore, California. His victory came via shutout unanimous decision (30-27 x 3) against Joey De La Cruz (1-1). Abas (2-0) is one of the most decorated wrestlers to ever compete in MMA, having gone 144-4 at Fresno State University and winning an incredible three Division 1 national championships. With little international experience he immediately claimed a Siliver medal in the 2004 Olympic Summer Games. He was also voted one of the 15 best American wrestlers in history. Abas is currently a trainer at The Arena Gym in San Diego, California.
