Spike TV announced two fights for their UFC 115 Prelim special that will air at 9pm ET, one hour prior to the scheduled PPV event. The two fights are Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham and Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman.
Griffin has won back to back fights while finally earning his first finish inside the octagon at UFC 103 against former #1 contender Hermes Franca. He currently sports a UFC record of (6-2) with his only losses coming to the current champion Frankie Edgar and former champion Sean Sherk.
Dunham is undefeated in his career and is coming off a huge upset submission victory of TUF champion Efrain Escudero at the UFN 20 event. Dunham is currently sports a record of (3-0) inside the octagon.
Danzing kept his UFC career alive with a decision win over Justin Buchholz at UFC 109. Danzing had lost 3 fights in a row prior to that and was on the verge of getting released from the promotion. Which would have been a first for a former TUF champion.
Wiman is coming off a much needed victory over Shane Nelson at UFC 107. He sports a (5-3) career mark inside the UFC.
The main event of UFC 115 will be a showdown between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin.
