'Right to Fight' Event Is Jewel In Martial Arts Show Crown
This coming month will see some of the nation's top fighters battle it out to defend their MMA titles, on an historic night at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham, marking the return of the UK's longest surviving MMA promotion; Cage Warriors Fighting Championship.
The CWFC 37: 'Right to Fight', which takes place on Saturday the 22nd of May, will feature one of the strongest line-ups in recent history, with some of the worlds finest competitors taking to the ring to defend and challenge for the highly coveted belts and the opportunity to fight on one of the most prestigious European shows.
The events card will feature a four-man welterweight tournament created to find the successor for the now vacant title belt (currently held by Dan ‘The Outlaw' Hardy) as well as a mouthwatering bantamweight title defence by current champion Paul "Metabolic" McVeigh, against US challenger Frank ‘Sharp' Sharipov and a long awaited lightweight title defence by Alexandre ‘Xandinho' Izidro (Brazil) vs challenger Greg 'Hitman' Loughran (NI).
More titles are still to be announced from the CW stable, including Rosi Sexton, the worlds no.1 female flyweight, with the event also featuring a Woman's bantamweight bout between Pro debutantes' Sarah Moras (CAN) & Helena Martin (UK).

The event will cap a huge weekend for MMA enthusiasts, with thousands set to descend on the NEC for The Martial Arts Show which takes place on the 22nd & 23rd of May, covering the complete martial arts spectrum. With guests able to enjoy a wide range of martial arts activities including; tournaments, free courses and seminars, competitions, demonstrations, personal appearances and hundreds of autograph opportunities.
Of the shows anticipated 35,000 visitors only 1,000 lucky martial arts fans will have the chance to be ringside for the historic nights action. Those unable to get a ticket will be able to watch the fight live online in high definition, from the comfort of their own home. (more details to follow).
The fight will also be available on demand after the live event for infinite repeat viewings, should fans miss the live stream. Over 9,000 fans have already registered to the site which regularly attracts in excess of 150,000 unique viewers per month and over 20million monthly search hits.
The event will be the UK's first to be featured live online and represents the sports recent progression into the mainstream.

"As well as the title bouts we're hosting up to two, four-man tournaments and two all women fights, so there will be plenty of hard-hitting action all evening."
