Brandon Vera is looking to keep rising up the ranks of the UFC LHW division, and he'll be taking on the "Polish Experiment" Krzysztof Soszynski. Here's what "The Truth" had to say about his opponent:
"He’s a southpaw, he’s strong as hell – he used to be a heavyweight – and he trains with a good camp at Team Quest," said Vera of ‘The Polish Experiment’. "All of those guys are in shape, and he’s going to be in shape. I’ll have to use both Muay Thai and keep my distance using head and leg kicks. With Krzysztof it’s going to be an inside and an outside fight, so we’re going to have to use both."
It must be noted that Soszynski took this fight on a little bit of a short notice after Matt Hamill got hurt training for the fight with Vera. I'm thinking it's Vera's fight to lose, but Soszynski has been on quite a roll since his days on The Ultimate Fighter. I agree that Vera will be in and out, and should be able to win the stand up exchanges. What say you?
