Report: Chris Lytle Out Of UFC 19 Fight Against Carlos Condit With A Knee Injury

New, 7 comments

That's the news according to MMAjunkie:

A knee injury has forced UFC veteran Chris Lytle (27-17-5 MMA, 6-9 UFC) out of a scheduled UFC Fight Nigh 19 bout with Carlos Condit.

Ken Pavia of MMAAgents.com, which reps Lytle, today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) the longtime UFC fighter and runner up on "The Ultimate Fighter 4" tore his meniscus and now has a "blown ACL."

Oh man that sucks.  I was really looking forward to this fight as it featured two fighters that are really aggressive.  No replacement has been named to replace Lytle on the card.  There's also no time table in regards to how long Lytle will be on the sidelines with the injury.
