The Sun reports:
But now, well-placed parties involved on both sides of the negotiations between ESPN and the UFC have hinted an announcement will be made by the end of this week.
We understand a deal has been agreed between the two parties and UFC president Dana White has called a press conference on Friday to announce the news.
ESPN launch their UK channel on August 3 and their cameras will be at the Philadelphia Wachovia Centre to shoot UFC 101 on August 8
I guess this would be pretty big in the grand scheme of things in regards to international expansion. One only hopes that this could develop into the UFC landing on ESPN here stateside in America. This looks like it will be one of the major announcements to be made at the UFC press conference on Friday. Now only if they could finalize the Fedor deal.
