That's the word according to Sherdog:
Krzysztof Soszynski has agreed to face Brandon Vera in a light heavyweight contest at UFC 102 on Aug. 29 in Portland, Ore.
Once bout agreements are inked, Soszynski will replace Matt Hamill, who sustained a knee injury, according to multiple sources close to the bout.
Reports indicate that Hamill suffered a meniscus tear that will require 3-4 weeks of rehab according to reports from MMAJunkie. I was really looking forward to this matchup and I'm disappointed that this has happened to Hamill. However, Soszynski is on a roll winning three in a row and a win against Vera would be a huge feather in his cap. Vera is looking to capatilize on his last outing where he destroyed Mike Patt's legs for the TKO victory. I suppose this fight will remain on the PPV portion of the card.
