Report: UFC 105 To Air On Spike TV From The United Kingdom

According to MMAJunkie:

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will likely host two major events in November – one on Spike TV and one on pay-per-view – on back-to-back weekends.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission recently updated its online calendar, showing the UFC had formally requested a Nov. 21 event date at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Additionally, multiple sources have told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the Vegas event, UFC 106, will likely follow a Nov. 14 UFC 105 event, a show expected to take place in the U.K. (possibly Manchester) that would air on Spike TV.

UFC 105 would air on free basic cable and help promote the following week's pay-per-view offering.

It's still early, but it's still music to my ears.  We get two major events on back to back weekends with one of them possibly being shown for free on Spike?  Chea!   I would be willing to bet that this card will be headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Anderson Silva if Bisping can get past Dan Henderson at UFC 100.  That would be huge for the UK fans as well as the UFC.  Also, it would allow the UFC to advertise directly to it's core audience for the PPV event the following weekend.  It's a everybody win scenario if it comes to fruition.  This card could also see a re-match between Dan Hardy and Marcus Davis, as Davis has gone on record stating he wanted a re-match before the end of this year.  I'm sure one of the UK TUF winners will make an appearance on this card as well.  However, if Henderson is to beat Bisping at UFC 100 that would be a big monkey wrench in my whole scenario :(.
