Well it's another weekend to look forward to with MMA action on the schedule.  I know my wife is probably like, "MMA again".  I love you too boo!  With that said, WEC 39 will be hitting us in the head this Sunday on March 1st for FREE on the Versus channel.  As usual MMA4Real will be here with a discussion thread as the fights go on, and we encourage you to join us for a good time.  With that said, let's get straight to the fights:

Mike Brown vs. Leonard Garcia(Featherweight Title Match)

 Mike Brown Leonard Garcia

Charles Walker- I agree with Kelvin, Brown's big and strong and a good wrestler.  Three things that'll work against Garcia, while I think Garcia will find some success early on the stand up, I think after getting tagged a few times Brown will clinch up or shoot in and take it to the ground, where Garcia will just be overmatched.  In the end, I have to give it to Brown by....4th round TKO stoppage.

Kelvin Hunt-I think size and Brown's wrestling will be the difference in this fight.  Garcia has been absolutely on fire as of late, but his brawling style will get him in trouble over and over again in this fight.  Everytime he over commits with wild punches he'll pay by giving up a takedown.  Garcia's versed in submissions, but I don't see him catching Brown with anything.  He'll probably absorb some GnP.  However, Garcia has never been finished in his entire career.  At least I think he'll keep that streak going.  Brown via Decision.

Bart Palaszewski vs. Ricardo Lamas

Bart PalaszewskiRicardo Lamas

Charles Walker- No need to really break this down, if Palaszewski loses, he just simply wasn't prepare.  But I think he is and should win this via TKO quick and in the first round.

Kelvin Hunt-Palaszewski is much more experienced, and Lamas in taking this fight on VERY short notice.  Lamas hasn't fought anyone with the skillset of Palwaszewski from what I can tell.  I think Palaszewski will have his way with the youngster..  Palaszewski via TKO Rd. 1

Jose Aldo vs. Chris Mickle

Jose AldoRicardo Lamas

Charles Walker- Mickle's is tough and this will really show if Aldo is for real.  I think the first round will be tentative and we won't see a WHOLE lot of action but I think once the second round hits, Aldo will have his rhythm down and know when and where he can hit Mickles.  In the end, I think Aldo will have a tough time but get a late 2nd round stoppage.

Kelvin Hunt-Ohh, I can't wait to see what Aldo brings to this fight.  Mickle has fought a TON in the past 3 year or so mostly on the mid-western circuit.  Most of his wins have come via submission and that's more than likely how he'll have to win this fight.  However, Aldo is the real deal IMO.  I think he stops Mickle via TKO in Rd. 2

Rob McCullough vs. Marcus Hicks

Rob McCulloughMarcus Hicks

Charles Walker- I'm going against the grain here and I think Hick busts a blitzkrieg early on in the first round and actually hurts McCullough in route to a guillotine in which he'll cinch it in tight enough to choke out the first round.

Kelvin Hunt-I'm very interested in this fight.  Classic striker vs. grappler for the most part.  As long as McCullough stays away from the guillotine of Hicks I think he'll be fine.  However, Hicks has straight titanium in his chin as we saw against Jamie Varner.  He'll be at a reach disadvantage and I think McCullough could put Hicks away to right this ship as far as his career goes.  McCullough via TKO in Rd. 2

Danny Castillo vs. Phil Cardella

Danny CastilloRicardo Lamas

Charles Walker- Hmmmm, I think Castillo is the better of the two, only fight I've been able to see of his is the Cerrone fight and he did get subbed in that but looked good.  Thus I have to take Castillo to win via decision

Kelvin Hunt-Castillo is a pretty good wrestler and Cardella is versed in submissions.  Castillo was subbed by Donald Cerrone so it's possible that Cardella could catch him.  However, I'm go with Castillo via Decision.

Marcos Galvao vs. Damacio Page

Marcos GalvaoDamacio Page

Charles Walker- Saw Page on one of the Tapout episodes and of course in the WEC.  I think he'll have the comfort and experience to hold off Galvao and take a 3rd round TKO.

Kelvin Hunt-Galvao is a Shooto veteran and all of his wins have come via decision.  Page is a scrappy fighter that trains and Team Jackson and appears to be a much better finisher.  If Page comes into this fight in shape I think he should be able to come away with the win.  Galvao will fight not to lose.  Page is Decision

Johnny Hendricks vs. Alex Serdyukov

Johny HendricksAlex Serdyukov

Charles Walker- Hendricks via decision

Kelvin Hunt-Hendricks is the better wrestler of the two.  I'm going with him via TKO in Rd. 3.

Kenji Osawa vs. Rafael Rebello

Kenji OsawaRafael Rebello

Charles Walker- Don't know either, so I'll just take a wild guess and say Rebello via decision?

Kelvin Hunt-Osawa is a Shooto veteran, while Rebello is a member of American Top Team and is well versed in submission.  I see Rebello getting this fight to the ground and sinking in a RNC in Rd. 2.

Alex Karalexis vs. Greg McIntyre

Alex KaralexisGreg McIntyre

Charles Walker- I got Karalexis in this one.  TKO early.

Kelvin Hunt-Karalexis is a brawler and McIntyre is more of a grappler/wrestler type.  Another classic old school match up.  I'm going with Karalexis via TKO in Rd. 1

Mike Budnik vs. John Franchi

Mike BudnikRafael Rebello

Charles Walker- Have no idea, so I'll just go with my usual default, whoever has a pic by Budnik by decision.

Kelvin Hunt-I don't know much about either fighter.  Budnik via Submission in Rd. 1

Justin Haskins vs. Mike Pierce

Justin HaskinsMike Pierce

Charles Walker- Again, Haskins by decision.

Kelvin Hunt-I don't know much about either fighter.  I'm go with Pierce by Decision.
