South Carolina finally decided to legalize MMA earlier this year. Now, Strife MMA and Palmetto Boxing present the first sanctioned MMA show in Columbia, South Carolina, on November 21st. The doors will open at 6pm with the first fight beginning at 7pm. The event will take place at the Radisson Hotel, and you can get your ticket information by calling 1-803-413-7129. The event will feature 10 MMA fights as well as 5 pro boxing bouts. The main event will feature former Newberry College wrestling standout, and former division 2 All-American Kelly Anundson(1-0) against Tyrone Jackson. The MMA portion of the card is below:

This is great and what's even crazier is that two of the guys on this card are fighting out of Whiteville, NC. Which just happens to be where I was born, and 7 miles away from where I grew up.
