I know I'm a little late with this...but the UFC hype machine is already in motion for Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture. Dana White has gone on record as saying this will be the biggest fight in UFC history and that it will surpass 1million PPV buys.
When he first made that statement it was heavily rumored that the co-main event for UFC 91 was going to be Rampage Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva 3. However, that fight seems to have been moved to either UFC 92 or 93 for whatever reasons(Rampage's court date is Nov. 3rd). If that fight were still on the card...I have no doubt that UFC 91 would break the PPV record that was obtained at UFC 66: Ortiz vs. Liddell 2. As it currently stands the co-main event for UFC 91 will be Kenny Florian vs. Joe Stevenson. I'm sure that will be a damn good fight, but it's not even close to what Rampage/Wandy 3 brings to the table in terms of PPV draw.
How will this card does PPV wise will be a strong indication of just how good the UFC hype machine is. I do think it will get close to 1 million, but I don't know about 1 million at this point. What are your PPV estimates for this card?
