According to Yahoo Sports:
After 11 months of fighting in the courts it looks like the UFC and Randy Couture have buried the hatchet. The promotion is holding a press conference on Tuesday at Noon PT to announce a new deal with the heavyweight champion
It's expected that Couture will face Brock Lesnar at UFC 91.
While this is indeed good news for MMA and the UFC in general. I must say that I've lost a ton of respect for Randy Couture. He basically caused this whole fiasco, only to re-sign for more money if the report is true. I think the way he handled things to begin with were on some retard level stuff, but at least he could have stuck by what he said initially.
Lesnar/Couture could be the biggest MMA PPV ever, and there are A LOT of different angles in which they can bill this PPV. Drop your thoughts on this...as I've been out of the loop for a couple of days and may have missed something.
UPDATE:
The UFC has announced that UFC 91 will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will feature Lesnar vs. Couture. With Couture defending his heavyweight championship belt against Brock Lesnar. The winner will fight the winner of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Frank Mir in a unification bout.
