The tournament is only one week away and on-line pre-registration will end next Thursday at 8pm.  To get additional information and/or register visit ... http://www.usgrappling.us 

Also, Friday night registration and weigh-ins will be at the tournament site from 6-8pm, not at the normal location (Pendergrass Academy of Martial Arts).  The tournament site is located inside the Factory in the MVP Sports Center.  The address for the Factory is 1839 S. Main Street Wake Forest, NC 27587. 

So in other words, you have until next Thursday at 8pm to register online, and weigh in's will be at the Factory in Wake Forest. 

2010 NAGA NORTH CAROLINA GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP
On Saturday, May 8, 2010, the world’s largest grappling tournament circuit returns to Charlotte for its annual NAGA North Carolina Grappling Championship.  This tournament is open to all grappling styles, you do not need to be on a team or be a member of any organization to compete. This event is nationally RANKED!

You can download the registration form here or register online here.  The event will take place at the Grady Cole Center beginning at 8am.  Also, there will be a $5 parking fee, so all my North Carolina grapplers....let's get get geeeeeet it!

The Submission Only 8 grappling event took place this past weekend in Greensboro, NC.  There were TONS of participants in the children's divisions as well as the adults division.  Team ROC won the team points version of the event with Evolution Fight Academy taking second place, and Absolute Jiu-Jitsu taking third.  The No-Gi results are below, and more can be found after the jump.
