Randy Couture and Lyoto Machida have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 129 on April 30 in Toronto, MMA Fighting has learned from sources close to the fight. Couture also confirmed the fight when asked by MMA Fighting at UFC 125 on Saturday night.

I want to see this fight.

Yes, I know the outcome but it would be cool to see how they fare against each other.

A couple of things will happen in the fight:

Randy Couture will realize that Machida is really strong in the clinch.
Couture will realize that Machida’s combination of judo, sumo, grappling is better than his roman-greco on ANY GIVEN day.
Couture will realize like many other Machida’s opponent not named Shogun . . . I can’t touch this guy.

The first round of this fight will be slow but Machida will stop Couture.

Excuse my emotional, reactionary, fanatic output but Pettis will be the next UFC lightweight champion. Period.
