DREAM announces additional bouts for DREAM.16; Aoki to fight Aurelio

DREAM announced more bouts for DREAM.16, which will take place Sept. 25 in Nagoya, Japan. The show will air live in the United States on HDNet.

In addition to bouts already known, DREAM announced three other bouts Sunday at a press conference. Here is the card as of now.

DREAM.16 Card (Sept. 25)

Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs. Kazushi Sakuraba

Light-heavyweight title: Gegard Mousasi (#6 MMA For Real light-heavyweight) vs. Tatsuya Mizuno

Michihiro Omigawa vs. Joe Warren

Announced Sunday:

Lightweight bout: Shinya Aoki (#3 MMA For Real lightweight) vs. Marcus Aurelio

Featherweight bout: Kazuyuki Miyata vs. Takeshi Inoue

Featherweight bout: Joachim Hansen vs. Hideo Tokoro

Also expected to fight: Kid Yamamoto, Caol Uno and Ikuhisa Minowa

According to Sherdog.com's Tony Loiseleur who's on the scene, there will be more fights announced later in the day

I think there should be a watermark that’s based on Sharkfights. If there’s a card announced that’s not as intriguing, for whatever reason, as an event around the calibur of Sharkfights 13 then it should be labeled as such.

i hope this goes the way of kazushi and newton and is a grappling heavy affair, mainly b/c i’m curious to see how it would unfold and b/c i don’t want to see something strong as mayhem hammerfisting Saku into unconscious for the 20th time or however many
