Joe Warren Knocks Out Joe Soto at Bellator 27
Joe Warren has stated he is the most "dangerous man in the world." At Bellator 27 he proved just that.
In the first round the fighters touch gloves and immdeately Soto lands a sharp left that stings Warren. A left uppercut combo hurts Warren. Soto is plastering Warren with his lead left hand. Warren is stunned and turns around to move away from Soto. Warren tries to land punches, but he can't find Soto. Soto is lighting up Warren with jabs.
Two minutes left in the round and Warren is staggered by a combo from Soto. Warren finally shoots for a takedown and Soto stuffs. Soto slows down on the amount of punches thrown. Warren misses with a spinning back kick and Soto taunts Warren. Warren ends the round by landing a leg kick. Soto absolutely dominated that round. A easy 10-8.
Soto comes out with his hands down and gets blasted by a right hand from Warren! Warren follows up with punches to Soto's face on the ground. Warren lands lots of shots to the back of Soto's head. Referee doesn't see it. Soto stands up clinching with Warren. Warren then lands a knee to the face and Soto is out.
Joe Warren is now Bellator's new Featherweight champion. His next fight will be at Dream 16 on September 25th. He will be fighting Michihiro Omigawa.
