oh man..my turn to rip your rankings up...haha
Werdum is too high off that win…no way he should be ahead of JDS when JDS decapitated him….I’d put Fedor at #2 still….Cain’s biggest win is over Nogueira….so he’s too high. Everything else is aight.

I agree and I personally had JDS ahead of Werdum, but to present an argument, who has JDS beat that’s as good as Fedor?
doesn't matter
JDS destroyed Werdum….not to mention I’d pick JDS over Fedor right now…and I’d picked JDS if he re-matched Werdum.

lol...not quite
but..if Brett Rogers could hit Fedor like that….well…JDS would take his head off…not to mention JDS can take a real good punch himself….I doubt Fedor could take him down….in fact…when’s the last time you saw Fedor take somebody down? JDS FTW.

Ouch.
Too many issues here. Lemme just show it the way I see it:
1. Brock Lesnar
2. Cain Velasquez
3. Fedor Emelianenko
4. Junior Dos Santos
5. Shane Carwin
6. Fabricio Werdum
7. Alistair Overeem
8. Frank Mir
9. Big Nog
10. Antonio Silva
I put Cain over Fedor simply because I think their recent wins are similar, and I take Cain in a fight between them today. Too big, too good of a wrestler with enough speed to negate a big chunk of Fedor’s primary advantage on the feet.
Werdum may look low but I don’t see him beating Carwin, and the only reason he is on this list is because of his sub win over Fedor. I think the perception surrounding a Werdum/Fedor match is that Fedor sticks to a gameplan and demolishes him. Werdum’s place here is extremely fragile.
If Dos Santos had displayed any kind of ground game to this point, I’d have ranked him higher. He hasn’t. Now, to his credit he stopped Roy from taking him down, but in the upper echelons of the HW division, Roy Nelson is no takedown machine. With so many wrestlers near the top of this list, JDS has to prove he can deal with one (any!) of them before he gets higher on this list via any method other than attrition.
If I was a hungry man with a gun in my hand and some promises to keep...
good points, list seconded.
