Matt, Neil and Forrest will be live at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT to review tonight's "WEC 50: Cruz vs. Benavidez" which is headlined by a WEC bantamweight championship bout between Dominick Cruz and Joseph Benavidez and a lightweight bout between Shane Roller and Anthony Pettis.
The trio will break down the fights that make air and offer the usual insight and analysis the show is known for.

at Bishop trying to defend MMA judges when there are so many cases of them being totally TRBL.
I actually didn’t see any of the show tonight so that’s why I can’t comment on it. I’m just listening for amusement reasons.
All I ask is that if you're getting paid to do a job, do it
I mean, people make mistakes, but if you can’t be at least marginally consistent, then you don’t belong in that position. Like, there’s something wrong when there is such a wide margin of scoring between judges for a single fight.

But, this is a relatively new sport that is being handled by a state commission (and yep, as a part of a state government, expect incompetence, to quote Forrest) so of course there will be many problems like this and judges not knowing what they’re doing. It sucks but until the state governments fix the problem somehow…
But hey now, don’t leave it in the hands of… just kidding!

Well, it’s “young”, but it’s not like there aren’t training courses for this stuff. Not to mention that they’ve got incompetent boxing judges transitioning into MMA… I don’t think anyone should anything less than awful stuff. It’s certainly not an excuse, but it’s a reason why it happens.
