Ben Saunders Cut By UFC

'Killa B' is Killa Gone

Saunders had this to say on his Facebook (check out his twitter post for more details)

Sorry everyone I tried to fight my best these past two fights but ended up getting out worked. The UFC has officially cut me. The good news is they told me to work on my wrestling and ground game and then come back. So that is all I am going to be doing, improving dramatically and show them I belong.

I hope to see him back in The Octagon as soon as he picks up some more wins. 'Killa B' you will be back!

I’m pretty shocked that he was cut. I thought he’d get one more fight at least since he stepped up to face Fitch at a one-day notice.

Yea

but…if you can’t beat Dennis Hallman(no disrespect to Hallman)…you probably don’t belong in the UFC WW divison right now.

Basically, Creates this weird imbalance because Marcus Davis is still there – Saunders pummeled him to shit.

From living in Fla and seeing him at events all over the state, he is the only fighter that I went from liking to not as much due to his lack of fan appreciation. Local fans aren’t as hyped up on him as some others here like Seth, Filthy, Arroyo, etc… (just sharing)

Hallman looked impressive against John Howard until the last minute of the match. But I agree that Hallman isn’t a top-level guy. I just thought Saunders would get a loser-leaves-town match. I talked to Jordan Breen about this in his chat today and he had a good answer as to why this is best for Saunders and the UFC and I agree with him. I’ll find it later (gotta go to work) and post his response it was good stuff.

why they go and saunders man i know he wasn’t doing all that good but they still have kendall grove in the ufc he was doing way worse then saunders grove finaly won after how many lose’s i think they should have gave him one last fight
