UFC on Versus 2 Results: Jones quickly finishes Matyushenko with elbows

It might be time to believe the hype.

Highly-touted prospect Jon Jones made quick work of crafty veteran Vladimir Matyushenko on Sunday at UFC on Versus 2, stopping the 29-fight veteran and former IFL champion with elbows in 1:52

Jones lands a kick to start things off.  Spinning back kick connects. Matyushenko rushes in but Jones takes him down. Matyushenko locks up the arm in an unusual position but lets it go. Jones with some elbows from half-guard. He passes to side. Jones with the crucifix and he rains down elbows. Matyushenko can't defend himself and referee Herb Dean jumps in to make the save at 1:52.

Jones moves to 11-1 in his career.
