Land of confusion? Nogueira brothers dominate UFC 119 headlining bouts

It was earlier reported that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira would co-main event UFC 119 against rising star Ryan Bader.
Today, the other shoe dropped, as MMAFighting.com is reporting that former PRIDE heavyweight and UFC interim heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrogio Nogueira will rematch Frank Mir in the main event of that night's show.
The show is expected to be held Sept. 25 from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Nogueira and Mir first met at UFC 92 in December 2008 in a fight that saw Mir become the first person to stop the legendary Nogueira, knocking him down repeatedly and finishing him by TKO in the second round to become the UFC interim heavyweight champion in a fight that Nogueira went into with a bad staph infection.
Since that fight, Nogueira is 1-1, beating Randy Couture at UFC 102 and losing to Cain Velasquez at UFC 110. Mir is 1-2 since that fight, losing to both Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin by stoppage while defeating Cheick Kongo by submission.
The two also were opposite coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter 8."
This will be the first time the Nogueira brothers have fought on the same card since 2006, when both were victorious at "PRIDE: Critical Countdown Absolute" held July 1, 2006. Rodrigo defeated Fabricio Werdum by decision while Rogerio stopped Alistair Overeem by TKO in the second round.

You don’t even have to do a countdown show for Cro Cop/Nog II. Spike could feature a really sweet Best of Pride that has like, Cro Cop’s second fight with Wandy, Nog’s fight with Bob Sapp, and then the epic Cro Cop/Nog I. That’ll set up mad hype for the fight in casuals. It’s the perfect matchup for both guys right now.

Lesser guys have lasted that long or longer.
Though I agree Chael should get lit up standing, its not like Anderson has great takedown defense, or has ever really done much on the ground past figure 4 a guys body and hang out.
I think that fight is going to end up being competitive.

I won't defend the Takase fight
But the Chonan fight wouldn’t happen again. And yeah he got mounted by Luter, but he still won. Sonnen has three losses to Gumby, at least two of which weren’t flukes.

really?, then I wonder why he wasn’t tapped by Okami or Nate if it’s so easy to do. Anderson’s bjj is vastly overated he got taken down and mounted by a dehydrated Lutter who basically passed out and fell into a triangle. Chael doesn’t gas has great takedowns and loves to work from the guard all day Anderson is in for a long night.
