Jones didn’t even appear to be in the same weight class as Vladdy. How he’s going to be able to stick around at 205 is beyond me.

Haha, yeah, Forrest just IM’d me and said “His future is at HW.”

It has to be. I seem to recall Jones saying that he spent most of this camp at 230 pounds or so. He’s only going to get bigger at he gets older. He’s most likely going to mature into a 250+ pound heavyweight.

Also, heavyweight is better for his career long term. Within a few fights, he’s going to be running into guys at light heavyweight who pose him real stylistic problems. Heavyweight? Not so much.

I wonder if people will accuse him of PEDs when he goes from a LHW into a 250-pound heavyweight

Only if he gets knocked out by Chuck Liddell and Shogun at 205 first.

I just finished re-watching Mark Munoz’s fight with Nick Catone at UFC 102.

I wouldn’t be suprised at all if Okami got frequent take downs on Munoz. Before Catone gassed out, he had zero problems putting Munoz on his ass. And even when he was pretty much exhausted in the third round, he managed to take Munoz down.

I wouldn't be surprised if Okami KO'd him either

Munoz doesn’t have the bestest of chins.

You know what's really fun? Not being a raving lunatic. Give it a try some time, you might just like it!

That’s the most likely result. Dude not only doesn’t have a great chin, but he’s probably the most hittable UFC fighter on the roster. Hamill, Catone and Grove landed almost at will on him. It’s scary how bad his defense is.
