4-time All-America wrestler Palmer coming to MMA
Former Ohio State wrestler and four-time All-American wrestler Lance Palmer has signed with MMA Incorporated to manage his mixed martial arts career and will move to Sacramento, Calif., to begin his MMA training with Urijah Faber's Team Alpha Male, MMAWeekly.com is reporting.
Palmer was the national runner-up at 149 pounds and won the Big Ten at the same weight this year.
Said Faber to MMA Weekly:
"Palmer will be a great fit for Team Alpha Male" said Faber on Monday. "He has the type of work ethic we look for in a team member and is one of the toughest wrestlers in the country. He has a champion's mentality and that is what we look for in our teammates."
Palmer tweeted last week that he does not know when his first fight will be.

Lance is a big-time wrestling talent. I wish him luck and look forward to following his progress closely. Metcalf will probably be starting for the U.S. in the World Championships and Lance went 1-1 against him last season. It’s unreal how insanely talented you have to be to be a 4 time All-American.
