Matt, Neil and Forrest will be live at midnight ET/9 p.m. PT to review tonight's "Strikeforce/M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Werdum" card, which is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Fabricio Werdum and a Strikeforce women's 145-pound championship bout between Cris Cyborg and Jan Finney.
The trio will review the night's four-fight main card and talk about what is next for Strikeforce and the fighters.

I said several times that I thought Fedor would win,but that Werdum would give him far more trouble on the ground than people thought.This is,after all,the same Fedor that got swept and put in the most garbage keylock ever by Mark Hunt.How was he not going to have trouble with an ADCC champ?

Well, I’ll still listen to the full show and comment at times, but aside from the main event (and boy, am I glad I was able to see stupefying history live rather than on tape) I didn’t get to see any of the show and instead I’ll have to go by what I’ve read online (and the highlights they just showed now).
But yeah, I’m stunned beyond belief at what I just saw.

Well what I meant was if we’re drawing parallels to GSP/Swick and Fedor/Werdum, nobody gave/would give Swick or Werdum a shot to win, and when you compare the gulf of talent between GSP/Swick, it’s much larger than that of Fedor/Werdum, but that Werdum has zero striking to his name.

There’s a difference between giving someone a shot to win,and saying they have no possible path to victory.Of course Swick can land a shot on GSP’s chin and put him down.Of course Werdum can catch Fedor in a submission.Saying they have zero chance is ridiculous.Werdum and Swick are quality fighters.This isn’t me fighting Fedor.

She did land several flush right hands on Cyborg’s jaw,but she was just woefully overmatched.But Finney isn’t a quality fighter.Werdum and Swick are Top Ten fighters.Saying they have no possible way to beat a man is just silly.This is MMA,where there are countless ways to win.Saying a quality fighter has no possible way to win a fight is just flat out wrong,and Werdum proved it tonight.

Well, that’s random, but yeah, Swick could theoretically beat GSP. I mean, MATT SERRA beat GSP, so anything could happen. It’s highly likely that St. Pierre will win, but you can’t say it’s a guarantee.

You guys don’t back down from Forrest. You’re 100% correct – everyone was immediately watching to see Dana’s response. He’s a rival promoter who’s been trying to sign Fedor for years.

Neil Is A Belt Mark
To me, title belts are very important, but hey it’s Strikeforce, and Overeem has defended his belt ONCE in three years, so it is pretty meaningless.
Strikeforce are second rate, none of their belts mean anything because they don’t have the best stable of fighters.

It happens. You and I will end up seeing the other three matches on some site on Sunday, most likely.
As for the ladies match, two of the three dudes on Sherdog scored it 9-7 for the first round. It’s just an unfortunate situation all around and let’s be honest here, it’s a state athletic commission, so the lady ref won’t get punished even though it sounds like she should for bad reffing and possibly causing serious damage to a fighter.

I just saw the first round of the ladies fight and yeah, I’d score it 9-7 too. It was unfortunate but hopefully Kim Winslow learns from her mistakes and she doesn’t ref like that ever again.

I’m not surprised to hear that Scott Smith had a TRBL gameplan in this fight, given Forrest’s take on seeing him live at Strikeforce Nashville and seeing him walk around the crowd; judging by Forrest’s description-this isn’t what Forrest said specifically; I’m just inferring-it sounds like Smith was totally out of his mind, as if he’s either gone insane, he’s punchdrunk, or he was high off of various substances.
Ask Forrest who Lawal fights next. Do they have anybody even on the roster that’s half-way deserving?
