It has always been for me that some fighters would appear and people would want to see me in matches against these fighters. That will always happen. As for the UFC, when my contract with Strikeforce is over – I have two fights left on my contract – the UFC will have the time and the opportunity to prepare and offer a contract that may be interesting to me.

That’s called fucking with the UFC. He’s as much a badass outside the cage/ring as he is inside it. Dana, he’s playing you like a fiddle after you desecrated (or attempted to) his good name and legendary status…take it like a man i guess :)
I’m not a huge fan of these shenanigans but it is mildly amusing i must admit….i guess he’s the Last Emperor, becuase he laughs last, and hardest! A mean motherfucker….

pfft
I would put money on him losing to one of the three….Lesnar, Carwin, Velasquez…
Therefore, the allure is gone.

I think he handles Lesnar and Carwin, it’s Velasquez and Dos Santos that are his biggest threats. His just to fast for the other two, and I think they’d be breathing like a TB patient after one round

yeah I don't see anyone out ar HW out working Cain.
I think it would depend on how much of a threat he views Fedor off his back. If not so much he would probably try to ragdoll him for the fight.

We still haven't seen Cain's sub defense
That was, in theory, what the Nog fight should have provided us, but we know how that went. What you have in Cain is an elite wrestler with a non-stop motor and a decent chin. His kickboxing has become adequate due to athleticism more than technique, but the technique is quickly catching up training with Javier over at AKA.
Mir would be a great fight for Cain, in my opinion, just to see if we can see how he works in a capable guard.

True, and yeah I don't know if I'd favor Cain against Mir.
But I can’t think of anyone at AKA with suspect sub defense, I guess a good camp goes along way when coupled with a gas tank like that. One advantage that I give Velasquez is he’s hungry like like he will grind your bones to make his bread hungry and that’s scary.

The only thing I find interesting in this is his softening position toward the UFC. Do I actually think he would consider it if Dana came with olive branches and good will after his next two fights are up? Sure, he’d think about it. And then he’d turn down the offer again.

Which is why he should just STFU.

he is never coming to the ufc and would lose to 2 out of the top 4 heavyweights in the ufc.
once lesnar defeats carwin and he shows how great of a wresler he is more people will understand that the new breed of heavyweight is too big and too strong for the 5 foot 11 inch, belly fatted fedor. just watch how lesnar will takedown carwin and push him up against the cage and just pound on him. carwin is hitting the canvas this time around and he won’t be able to handle the 275-280 pound lesnars (fight weight) strength and speed when he is on top of him and shifting around till he gets that perfect postion to commence the beatdown. the ufc should buy a ticket for fedor and give him front seats and let him see the beatdown himself. lesnar will not have jitters but i think carwin will. he has only had one spotlight fight with mir and mir just had a zhitty gameplan and that is why he won. i’m actually counting the wrastling ppv events which i saw as 30 headline events along with every fight he has had in the ufc. you still have to at least perform (even though it’s fake) and lesnar is used to the big crowds and the millions watching. peace.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Craig Thompson just might end up being a savvy guy if he gets the MWC to 12 teams. The University of Utah starts in the Pac-Ten in 2011. Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". To protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf. "Training Day". Rashad will beat Rua b/c he is a far superior wrestler and a bad matchup for him. 2/1 odds. Josh Koscheck will dethrone Gsp and win the welterweight title. Last man to win a round vs Gsp. 2.9/1 odds on that too. Peace.

The only top UFC heavyweights I’d be comfortable picking Fedor against would be Mir and Carwin.Mir is too fragile and Carwin is far too mechanical on the feet.I think Lesnar and Cain would bust him up really bad on the ground with elbows and short shots in close against the cage and force some sort of stoppage. He might be able to tap Dos Santos if got him to the mat,but I don’t know if he could survive that offense before doing that.
When you just think about how much better Lesnar,Cain and Dos Santos are than the guys Fedor has been fighting the last few years,it’s pretty stark.I mean, how do you think Sylvia,Arlovski or Brett Rodgers would do with any of those guys?
