Why cant they give Pearson someone who is going to test him, hes had a string of solid performances in the octagon.
and there giving him Cole Miller really now?

yea
I’m thinking it’s a step in the wrong direction also….but Miller has a solid skillset so we’ll see I suppose.

Sometimes I think it’s ok with lateral progression in terms of opponents. Get some octagon time.
Especially in the hornets nest that is the LW division.

I don't think Ross is ready for the upper tier yet,
on the show he showed some, good wrestling but we haven’t really seen any thing resembling a ground game yet. He’s been fed strikers so far and he can deal with that Cole has some good submissions and some decent ground work he’ll most likely get picked apart on the feet but at lease it’s something new for Pearson to look at. If you were to put Ross in with some 170 pound LW wrestler he’d probably get mauled.

I agree with what you say sir.
I think they should let him develop at a well-measured pace, putting him in there with opponents that can test different aspects of his game.

I really think this is Dana's last chance to push Brit into title contention,
I could be wrong but I think Dana really wants a British title holder, and with his current crop of fighters Pearson is his last chance until they can build someone else up. He’s gonna take his time with Pearson and eventually he’ll fight for the title probably on his home turf.

i just think he deserves a step up in competition.

Personally I think this Pearson is ready to mix it up with guys like Tyson Griffin, Gray Maynard and basically any of the top UFC LW fighters.
