Good to see Strikeforce putting together POS undercards. Why are they even on the card?

Oh Yeah
I forgot Strikeforce sucks. They need 8 to 12 fighters to go out and sell tickets to watch gawd awful MMA in a big empty lifeless area. Yeah that sounds like a whole lotta fun. Where do I sign up?

LOL
I love the idea of convincing friends and families that live in the area to come watch Strikeforce! HAHAHA! What the cheapest ticket is like $20? To watch Ubereem, AA, Jacare, and Ribero. LOL! But what puts them over the top is to watch some journeyman fight? LOL!

It's good that there using local fighters I do appreciate that but like I said they never make it TV
so there’s really no exposure for them.

As someone that has a few friends that fight localy I get it.
But if you are turely a National or International promotion why are you doing this? Scott Coker didn’t even put together this undercard. It is competely unclear what Scott Coker does. Why Strikeforce Why? They are just bad, just bad.

Money...
it’s much cheaper to put on these fights than load up the undercard with talent, which aid in drawing some local interest. Strikeforce doesn’t control production and Showtime/CBS have made it clear that they have no interest in filling extra time with undercard bouts. So really, there is no reason to bother with loading up the undercard.

I understand your point
But the best thing for Strikeforce can do is throw together fighters that they have no intention of supporting or continuing a relationship? If Strikeforce isen’t going to respect these fighters, why should fans care? Why should media care. Matt Bishiop why are you going to sit and watch fighters that you will never see or hear from again? The least Strikeforce could do is put those fights up on Youtube like Bellator. Then again I doubt the production crew is filming these fighters. Why is Brandon Cash not fighting on this undercard? Why not guys that have fought on past Challengers shows not on this undercard? “Cheaper to get local talent.” Good to see Strikeforce being so fiscally responsible. AA, Ubereem, Silva, and Jacare are making some serious bank, got to save money on the undercard? Strikeforce give absolutely no respect to fighters. It is disgraceful. Excuse me while my had explodes.

Well, I was at the Chicago event as credentialed media and looking back at that event. Jeff Curran fought on the undercard, there was the Coenen/Roxy fight, Shamar Bailey impressed them and was brought back for a televised fight on a challengers card. I mean, some of these are actually guys getting what amounts to a tryout.
Let’s also not forget that this undercard was supposed to feature KID Yamamoto, which added to the Beerbohm/Shaolin fight makes for two really nice bouts. Jesse Finney is a guy who has fought for strikeforce before. Francisco France is an ATT fighter, Mike Chandler is a talented fighter.
It’s really not a wasteland.

I don't know why they even have undercards to begin with
it’s not like anyone ever sees them

Well, they actually are starting with the undercard for the weigh-in.
It will be starting in a few minutes, Jimmy Lennon Jr. says.
WHOA!
Actually not doing the main event first? Building up antisipation for a fight? This does not sound like Strikeforce

Funny
Since for the show we were at in Cali they did the rules meeting AFTER the weigh-ins. Good rule meeting too.. Rosenthal had the cornerpeeps in the palm of his hand.
