Shocking News: Goulet, Yoshida Cut From UFC
To be filed under the "nobody should be surprised" folder, MMA Fighting reports today that Jonathon Goulet and Yoshiyuki Yoshida have been added to the list of casualties from this past weekend's UFC 113 event.
Goulet's record moved to a not-so-great 22-11 overall, and career UFC record of 4-5 overall following his predictable TKO loss to Marcus Davis. Yoshida, despite coming in to the UFC with an impressive 9-2 record, his overall record now stands at 11-5, and 2-3 in the UFC. Devastating knockout losses to Koscheck and Johnson contributed to his release, but the decision loss to Michael Guymon was the icing on the cake. He now ponders a cut to 155 on this, his 36th birthday.
Yoshida and Goulet join the list of UFC cast-offs from UFC 113, including Paul Daley, who was cut following a post-fight punch to antagonist Josh Koscheck, and Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Fergusen, whose first loss will be his only loss in the UFC.

I still don’t like Slice being cut.. it’s pretty hypocritical for the people who were saying “He’s a real fighter now, let’s give him a chance!” to support the “He was brought in as a PPV seller, not a fighter. Cut him!” mentality.

I was never impressed with him
You can give him a pass for loosing the firs two fights but they way he lost them really hurt him if he would pick his fucking hands up maybe he would have done alright but instead he would fight like they would only throw body shots. Shit the only reason he got another chance after loosing to those two is because they are bad mother fuckers
