The WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber Discussion And Quick Results
Please make plans to join us tonight for the WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber PPV that will air at 10pm ET. However, please remember that two preliminary fights will air on Spike TV at 9pm ET prior to the PPV broadcast. As always, NO SPOILERS as some of the other prelim fights may make the live broadcast. It's going to be a great night of fights, so make sure you come here and make us your home for the WEC's first PPV event. I have to work all day today unfortunately, so I'll see you guys tonight at some point...See you then.

I can't believe they are doing this to Faber in his own town.
Those words from Regulate are going to be going through his head while getting worked by Aldo.

I should’ve kept track of “you know what I’m saying” from the beginning. Not to hate, but it was starting to become distracting. That said, I’ll enjoy Kimbo cleaning Matt’s clock.
Hearing ultimate karaoke song “Don’t Stop Believin’” in the background got a big laugh out of me. It makes me wish that it was the theme music of The Korean Zombie!
Ok, fair enough.
You know, I think that KIMBO has better MMA cardio-and IQ too-than this Garcia fool.

Hey now, he’s The KOREAN Zombie. You don’t want anyone to get any wrong ideas about you and stereotyping… but to be perfectly honest, I think that Neil Wager would have better MMA punching technique if he went in there tonight to fight someone, with no training.

Shiner 100
Stumpy: It's called the '80s. Ford was president, Nixon was in the White House, and FDR was running this country into the ground. I was bummin' in a hole-in-the-wall town in what is now called "Utah".
Awesome fight

Oh, I take it that you’ve seen none of the matches tonight, including the ones on Spike TV. That’s a huge shame. All of the bouts seen on Spike or on PPV have been at least a lot of fun, but you NEED to see Garcia vs. The Korean Zombie. No kidding, it’s like our decade’s version of Frye vs. Takayama, and Rogan/Goldberg both called it “the fight of the decade”.

That’s always good, making some phat cash. Hopefully you’ll get to see all the fights one of these days.

Oh, you’re welcome, Kelvin. Getting rid of that info is probably a good idea, as I know that on certain forums I look/post at, talking about “that stuff” is reason to get kicked off the board for good, and who knows who from UFC may be looking at this site… and we all know how they feel about the topic.
But anyway… the past two hours of this show on TV have been pretty incredible. This more than makes up for a horrid Strikeforce and fine turning to feces UFC show, both from earlier in the month.
haha

Haha. Also, I hear that he used to date that Brittany lady who is a ringgirl tonight. Nothing is appealing about him… except that he is at least entertaining to watch, technical skill or not.
If this sniffs the quality of their previous meeting… this will be THE MMA show of the year, I declare, as I don’t know how it could possibly be beat.

I liked the Henderson piece on the Countdown show the best.

Well, damn. There’s another result I could not have predicted. At least we have their first bout… and it not only makes Smooth Ben look fantastic, but all the Cowboy haters can laugh and laugh at this.
I mean, lasting only like 2 minutes, I’m surprised… oh my God, what’s growing on the Cowboy’s head? Damn.

I agree, but there’s so much time to fill… getting to see Mendez’s fight again is something I won’t complain about.
In any case, it looks probable that Korean Zombie vs. Garcia will be shown on the PPV, and if you didn’t see it on Spike, then you must not stop watching the pay per view until you watch it.

Yes it was.
I have to laugh at the show comment for a recent Lights Out Radio, when Bishop stated that Neil is so white, he didn’t recognize any rap songs… not even California Love. That makes me laugh, as how could Neil not recognize Faber’s entrance music?

I really hope Faber can hang on and make it last longer than the 1st round. I hate it when all this anticipation builds up for a fight then it only last 30 seconds.
