Gilbert Melendez Say's He Is A Top 5 Lightweight
It's hard to argue with Melendez here as I already had him at number 10, with Aoki at number 4. I think I'd place Melendez solidly at #5. What say you?

Definitly top 5, i’d put him at #5 personally but the argument can be made for the #4 spot. BJ, Florian, Edgar, Melendez and Kawajiri are almost easily the top 5 in no particular order with Aoki at #6, Alvarez at #7, Griffin at #8 and a crapshoot for the last two spots to round out the top ten.
Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...
I'd say top 5 or 7 I don't know how good Eddie Alvarez is but his highlights make him look real good
Melendez was the most impressive Sat for me the way he GNP Aoki was really smart and pretty god damn effective. I but Steve Mazagatti is thanking Diaz and Mayhem right now becasue every one forgot about the piss poor job he did reffing the Aoki fight

Gil is hitting is prime, needs to fight better guys though. Kawajiri should be next in Japan. Kawajiri got robbed last time, it would be a good story. Strikeforce would be retarted not to do that fight.
