Strikeforce Ratings Down Significantly, Averaged 2.63 Million Viewers

 From fightofthenight:

The stats show that ratings actually dropped during the last half hour of the show’s alloted two hour time-slot on CBS – though in fact the show actually ran on longer than that so we will have to wait until later on in the week to find out how the rest of the show fared.

To give you a rough idea of where those numbers compare to previous MMA events on the CBS network. Please note these are the final ratings for these events which tend to be higher than the overnights.

• Third EliteXC on CBS: Averaged 4.56 million
• Strikeforce: Fedor Vs Rogers On CBS: Averaged 4.042 million (3.79 million in the overnights)
• Strikeforce Nashville: Averaged 2.63 million (based on the overnights)

The figures do not bode well for Strikeforce’s long-term future on the CBS network

I might have to work on the “death of Strikeforce on CBS” song for the next episode of the show.

Feel free. I could really care less.

If anyone wants to see them they can go to mt twitter page. They are still up.
The numbers dont lie though, nor does the puffy eye.
Funny how the only people in the crowd cheering the takedowns were all wearing white shirtw/ Mo on them. But hey whatever.

Look at him mad. Just mad.

Mad that he was wrong as the day is long.

ehhh

those stats don’t mean much….when 75% of those strikes were thrown with his back on the canvas with no power on them whatsoever.

Did you read the numbers above?

I know you’re not that naive man.

I've got an idea for everyone mad that Mo won

Go cry about it. It’s not going to change the scorecard that the judges had, but it might get out some of that frustration.

Funny

How Forrest was clowning Joe Warren’s fight at Bellator for basically doing the same lay and pray stuff. But whatever.

There's no doubt Mo won the fight but I wasn't impressed with either guy

I thought it was a pretty uninspired performance by both fighters I actually think less of Mo now then when I had never seen him fight. As for Mousasi he didn’t look anything like a top 5 LHW. In conclusion I was way off on Mousasi and I was pretty right on on Mo(disappointingly though)
