Renzo Gracie Says He Just Ran Out Of Gas Going Into Third Round At UFC 112
Hey Brian. Told you it was the gas tank. Renzo says that he could fight at 155 if he wanted to, but may not since Edgar has title there.

Yeah, having his lead leg absolutley destroyed for ten minutes had NOTHING to do with it.

Seriously
Was he tired? Absolutely. But it’s not like he was doing anything to win the first two rounds, and even if he had cardio for DAYS it wouldn’t have stopped Hughes from TKO’ng him. I mean come on, when was the last time you saw Hughes pick someone apart with leg kicks?
And by the way Renzo, when you get TKO’d STANDING by Matt Hughes, it’s time to hang ‘em up. You weren’t that great when you were active; extra years and poor training don’t make you a better fighter. The days of Gracies ruling the world are long, long over.

didn't say it has nothing to do with it
but being tired was more of a factor to the leg kicks landing….

Come on Kelvin
That man wasn’t breathing hard because he got kicked in the legs. He got tired because wasn’t that great when he was in his prime, and now he’s old and not that great.

Am I missing something from the live thread?
Because from what I’m seeing here in the original post you’re saying he lost because of a small gas tank, and he said it was leg kicks.

I still think he can be entertaining
he has a contract to fight for UFC. He also only had 6 months to train for a fight, and has been out for 4 years. He will get in better shape and have a couple good fights. Gracie just needs to build his stamina. He has never needed to rely on athleticism, quickness, or strength, he has relied on his technique. He has great technique. He won’t contend, but he will be interestring to watch.

maybe rezno’s rethinking some of those things he knocked Rolles for in his UFC debut.
