It was a brutal night of fights as WEC 47 brought home the goods with nice submissions, crazy knockouts, and a cut for the ages. Several fighters were presented with suspensions and you can check them out below:
-Miguel Torres is suspended indefinitely because of this cut sustained against Joseph Benavidez. He must be cleared by a doctor before returning to action.
-Former champion Brian Bowles is also suspended indefinitely due to a what's thought to be a broken hand. Bowles must be cleared by a doctor before returning to action as well.
-Chad Mendes is suspended 60 days due to a cut
-Danny Castillo is suspended for 60 days for precautionary reasons. He suffered a knock out against Anthony Pettis.
-Courtney Buck is suspended for 60 days for precautionary reasons.
-Bendy Casimir is suspended for 60 days for precautionary reasons. He was knocked out against Ricardo Lamas.
