Fedor Emelianenko To Return To Strikeforce Soon?
The rumors have been swirling lately about the problems encountered between Strikeforce and Fedor Emelianenko/M-1 Global. However, Strikeforce head man Scott Coker tried to put some of those rumors to rest as he appeard on ESPN's MMA Live on yesterday. Coker said he expects Emelianenko to be under the Strikeforce banner pretty soon:
I look forward to having Fedor back and I think it'll happen sometime late second quarter and maybe in the summertime...I feel confident that we'll get through this process, and move on
The process Coker is referring to is M-1 Global trying to renegotiate Fedor's Strikeforce contract. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Will Emelianenko or better yet M-1 Global end up getting more money from Strikeforce in the end? Will Fedor take the fight with Josh Barnett under the DREAM banner as many believe? Or will Fedor honor the proposed fight between himself and Fabricio Werdum under the Strikeforce banner? I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

Now that the UFC
is going to counter program in (rumored to be in Nashville as well), the ultimate “1-Up” would be for Strikeforce to announce Fedor on the Nashville card.
Highly unlikely, but that would be great.

Not nervous
It’s just that Ill be traveling a ways to see it so I want to have everything planned out like hotel and my work schedule.
If they do change it to the next week, it wont be that big of a deal as long as they dont do it last minute.
