MMA For Real Exclusive Interview With Joseph "ElDingoLoco" Carroll
One of my favorite things to do is to interview up and coming fighters from right here in North Carolina. I was able to catch up with Joseph "ElDingoLoco" Carroll as he prepares for his upcoming fight at the Fight Fury Promotions event in South Carolina on March 20th. Caroll is (3-1) as a pro and will be gunning for another win as he will face off against Joseph Elmore. Carroll spoke with us about this fight and why he's one of the most exciting fighters in the area. He addresses a potential fight with another area fighter in Chris Clodfelter. He also talks about the local scene here in North Carolina, and who we should be keeping an eye out for. The entire audio interview can be found below.

Joe will always go for submission.
Thats what makes him so exciting. He is a true BJJ warrior. He is looking to lock or choke. Its what he does. He will stand and bang, but he is always looking for that immediate end to the fight. Thanks for so much WNC area MMA coverage!
Unashamedly biased for Team Superior here in Conover/HKY.
Can you tell be the fact I know all the SMA guys? Haha. Yes Im in Conover. Due to my job I dont train like I used to, but I have been a student of the Carroll brothers for years. I kind of give that away in my posts… But Im very proud of our fighters, since we are such a small school.

![From MMAJunkie.com:
Strikeforce heavyweight and former NFL great Herschel Walker (1-0 MMA, 1-0 SF) suffered a deep cut in training and has been forced to withdraw from next month's "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu" event.
Strikeforce officials today confirmed the change with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).
Featuring a light heavyweight matchup between Dan Henderson and Renato "Babalu" Sobral, "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu" takes place Dec. 4 and airs on Showtime.
"I feel terrible about this," Walker stated in today's official release. "I know things like this happen in all sports, but I had trained very hard and was excited to be returning to the cage again."
Walker had been expected to face one-time WEC veteran Scott Carson (4-1 MMA, 0-0 SF).
According to Strikeforce officials, a Daniel Cormier knee strike opened a "deep cut under [Walker's] left eye that required multiple stitches"...
Despite the setback, Walker said he hopes to return to action quickly.
"I hope to fight again as soon as the cut heals," Walker said.](http://cdn3.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/161814/herschel-walker-2_small.jpg)
