A big thanks goes out to the power outage
It’s cool, I didn’t want to start at 11pm.

Can you guys tell how many people are listening to the show right now? Not sure whether you guys can track that sort of stuff.
Problem is
That on our iTunes feed you can’t track downloads, just hits to the feed.. and the default iTunes setting is to refresh them every hour or so, regardless of when you pushed a new podcast.

Yea, now there’s all these great LW fighters. But your comment was that the Pride LW Championship meant nothing (emphasis on past tense). If you say yourself that he was fighting the best “at that time” that settles it. It meant he was beating all of the LW’s they put in front of him.
And we’re with you on that. The PRIDE belt DID mean something. And Gomi beat the best in the world at that time but now it doesn’t mean anything.

It means he should be shown a certain measure of respect. Whether he was one of the best LW’s on the planet or not, dude had some serious power in his hands. Kenny had to respect that. Kenny doesn’t like getting hit in the face (neither do I), much less getting hit in the face by Gomi. Nick Diaz’ orbital bone probably sent Kenny a text message before the fight to warn him.
Gomi has power
but the way he threw his punches tonight(aside from a select few)…he had nothing on them.

I agree but there was no way for Kenny Florian to know what type of Gomi was going to show up. Now that the fight is over everyone’s like “Gomi has been washed up for a long time. Kenflo shouldn’t have been worried about him.” Before the fight, however, no one knew what to expect.
I said
Once you lose the motivation to be the best…it’s hard to flip that switch….in other words…I expected the fight to go like it did since I said Florian would choke him out via RNC…:)

My first hint that Nate Quarry was going wrong was when I saw that he was still utilizing the Robot style of boxing. Chasing Jorge around the ring like a robot and throwing stiff punches.
Man, what a smokin' hot model
Sweet hat too

Exactly my thought
Like, how would it be effectively used when people can see it coming miles away?

Birth of my daughter was pretty dope. Also, marriage.
Lots of things. Music. Friends. Making fun of Matt Bishop. Yelling at the TV when Dirk Nowtizki misses a jumpshot. I have fond memories even of bad times.
