Gomi Has Seen Everything, Besides Elbows
For a former Pride light weight champion who has over 30 professional fights and has fought all over the world you would think there is very little to think about going into a fight besides the proper preparation. In Gomi's case he seems to be a little worried about the introduction of elbows.
"There are no elbows fighting in Japan and that's why (I am) more concerned in the United States."
Not only is this Gomi's introduction to elbows, but he is fighting a man in Kenny Florian who is capable of slicing a melon to pieces with his elbows. Kenny is known for his use of elbows and fighters who are use to elbows sometimes struggle with them. I look forward to Gomi's octagon debut and see if he still has it. There is more then rules going against Gomi in this fight. Gomi has gone 2-2 in his last four fights and this maybe his last stand before calling it quits.

Man
I can’t wait for this fight. I hope Gomi has been training in a cage as well, and I hope his cardio is on point. If not…he’s going to be in TROUBLE.

Man I am so nervous for Gomi in this fight.
Gomi’s only edge is power. Kenny is just as good a technical boxer as Gomi is and Gomi has a bit better werstling than Kenny but he anit taken Kenny down. I hope Gomi wins but I don’t think it will happen. Please prove me wrong Gomi.
i still remember KenFLo slicing open Leben on the show, when Kenflo was fighting quite a bit up in weight.
