Dan Hornbuckle Joins American Top Team
Recently signed Bellator welterweight fighter Dan Hornbuckle (19-2) has joined the highly regarded American Top Team, the MMA camp announced via Twitter today. Hornbuckle, a Sengoku veteran with victories over Nick Thompson and Akihiro Gono, joins standout fighters such as the UFC's Thiago Alves and Thiago Silva, and former WEC Featherweight champ Mike Thomas Brown, all of whom have contributed to the Coconut Creek, FL camp's reputation as one of the top MMA training centers in the world.
Hornbuckle, 29, has proven an electric fighter as his career has progressed, finishing 18 of his 19 career wins. Hopefully his time at ATT will be fruitful, and perhaps we'll see "The Handler" competing in the UFC's 170 pound division one day. He is next scheduled to face Nick Pierson at Bellator 15 in April.
