UFC PrimeTime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy Garners 1 Million Viewers
From MMAJunkie:
Wednesday night's debut of "UFC Primetime: St-Pierre vs. Hardy," which previews the UFC 111 main event on March 27 between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and British slugger Dan Hardy, was the highest-rated "UFC Countdown" show in history, Spike TV today announced.
The 30-minute show drew 1 million viewers during its initial run at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Those numbers best the highest total from last years UFC PrimeTime that featured Georges St. Pierre and BJ Penn(880,000 viewers). While this potentially bodes well for future PPV numbers, it's definitely not a lock to translate in that fashion. The countdown to UFC 110 show did 635,000 viewers, and we are getting a glimpse of how those PPV buy are turning out thus far. How'd yall like last night's edition of UFC PrimeTime?

I think it was
more to do with the anticipation of the Penn/GSP 2 fight more than anything….most people think Hardy has NO shot of winning…so it’s not as interesting I suppose.

this.
i also find it amusing that Hardy is placing so much trust in serra as a key to victory… did he see the rematch? you can’t teach a lucky punch, they happen, shit happens…
il be damned if lightening strikes twice with GSP…
