Report: Roger Gracie On May Strikeforce Card, Potentially Fighting Kevin Randleman
From MMAJunkie:
Kevin Randleman (17-14 MMA, 0-1 SF) is the leading candidate to face the grappling ace at the as-yet-unannounced show, which is likely to be hosted by the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo., and air live on Showtime.
Randleman, however, is not confirmed as an opponent, and PRIDE and UFC veteran Rameau Thierry Sokodjou (7-6 MMA, 0-1 SF) is also under consideration should the original matchup fizzle.
Finally. Gracie(2-0) announced he had signed with Strikeforce back in December, but has yet to compete for the promotion. Gracie, a submission specialist and ADCC champion, should fare well against either Randleman or Sokoudjou as both fighters are submission prone. Gracie adds some depth to the division, but at 32 years of age and only 2 MMA fights on his resume, just how much mileage will Strikeforce get out of him?

Don't be Surprised
If A) This fight doesn’t even take place
B) Roger’s wrestling isn’t good as everybody says it is.
yea
He doesn’t need wrestling against either of these guys though…they’ll fall into a sub for him…lol

![According to MMAJunkie
Diaz is going to fight at an event planned for Oct. 9 currently dubbed "Strikeforce: San Jose." But he will compete welterweight, and Miller is not his opponent.
Instead, recent winner K.J. Noons, who defeated Diaz nearly three years ago for the EliteXC lightweight title, is expected to get a shot at belt.
UPDATE by Matt Bishop [8/25/10 at 1:13 p.m. ET]: It's official via a Strikeforce press release and they have offered some quotes.
"Nick has no class, he’s a bum, a piece of (expletive) and he and his team disrespected my family and I with their gestures and trash talk and tried to upstage my fight,’’ said Noons after the near-fracas (in 2008).
Offered Diaz: "I’m sorry about what happened in the cage afterward, but I didn’t start it. His guys were talking (expletive) to us.’’
