WOW . . . he talked a serious amount of CRAP and came into the OCTAGON and did exactly what he said he was going to do. “Out fight him for 15 minutes.” It would be really awesome if he goes on to defeat the winner of the Silva-Belfort fight!
Please note: In both of Nate Marquardt’s real losses, he was out-wrestled. Yes, Marquardt was touted as the better grappler, the better wrestler, blah, blah, blah-GO TEAM JACKSON- he trains with Evans and GSP, blah, blah, blah . . . he got out-worked.
Melvin Guillard FINALLY showed some real improvement in his bjj submission defense.
Can we just simply give Paulo Thiago his props and bestow upon his name all the accolades given to the AKA trifecta.
Can you imagine when Phil Davis improves his MMA game? That guy was freaking sick!
Coleman offered nothing. All credit goes to Couture, unlike Shogun and Bonnar, Couture was never in a tight position.

UFC 109 was a GREAT CARD.
I used to be excited about Maia, he pretty much bored me. If he is unable to take his opponent down or pass his opponents guard . . . then I guess we will see more so-so fights. Sure he gets props for his stand up.
