Tough call
I’d be inclined to say no, especially since the one coming up probably won’t do that hot of ratings. But if it’s true that Fedor MUST be on CBS, then they’ve got the choice of either running another one on CBS.. or not having Fedor.
Truth be told, I’d love to be a fly on the wall of the meetings at Showtime/CBS, regarding these fight decisions. The decision making process of headlining with Jake Shields, or for that matter putting Shields/Mayhem on CBS in the first place. No doubt the dude is a great fighter, but him and Mayhem on TV? That’s ratings suicide, and ratings are clearly all they’re concerned with.
