UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy To Be Shown In 3 Movie Theatres In North Carolina

UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy

MMA Junkie is reporting that the UFC will show UFC 111 in over 300 selected theatres across the country.  Check it:

Live Ultimate Fighting Championship events will be shown in more than 300 theaters nationwide thanks to a deal the fight promotion struck with the NCM Fathom entertainment company.

Beginning with UFC 111 on March 27, the UFC's pay-per-view shows will air in high-definition on screens from a variety of movie-theater groups.

You can click here for a complete list of theatres that will be participating.  However, you know I had to look out for my North Carolina peoples.  Our locations are as follows:

The Carolina Asheville, Asheville, North Carolina 28803 Zip Code

AMC Concord Mills 24, Concord, North Carolina 28027 Zip Code

Brier Creek Stadium 14, Raleigh, North Carolina 27617 Zip Code

Ticket prices are expected to be in the $15-$25 dollar range.

Personally

I’d rather go to the bar n grill up the street and get the fight, food and drinks for $15-$20. This “just ok” theater thats showing it closest to me wants $20. Thanks, but no thanks Zuffa.

It might be a good date thing to do. Maybe the wife or gf would rather see in in the theatre just to get out of the house and do something different?

My girl don’t like MMA either. But I MAKE her like it. It’s not really about what she likes. Its about what I like.

Like that time she really wanted to go clubbing in Thailand but I took her to a Muai Thai fight instead.. or that time when she wanted to go shopping but I sat home and banged her instead.. Good times.

I hate watching UFC events with other people (besides my gf).

I like to analyze fights and absorb every little bit of whats going on; as opposed to being mentally smothered by a bunch of loud lunatics.

yea me too

unless the people I’m watching it know at least some MMA basics…

I dont know if I want to drive all the way to Asheville to watch it so i’ll probably just put out the 54.95 and watch it at home. I hope they show a future event at a theater closer to home, MMA on a big ass theater screen is worth a look.
