Mac Danzig's job surely was on the line heading into UFC 124 on Saturday.
Danzig kept his job, and in a big way.
While opponent Joe Stevenson set the pace in the early going, even tagging Danzig with a right, it was Danzig who would land a decisive blow. Stevenson got too aggressive and walked right into a big counter left hook placed perfectly by the back-pedaling Danzig. Stevenson fell flat on his face and was out before any further follow-up was needed.
