Hughes first minute knock-out unexpected?

All the hype that preceded the finale of the Penn/Hughes trilogy did not exactly live up to the hype. The fight ended in a highly unlikely first minute knockout. If these two guys fought 100 times a knockout in the first twenty seconds would probably only occur twice. I was hoping for a longer more tactical fight, it is difficult to determine if the better man won when the fight is so short such as in the Penn/Hughes match-up during UFC 123, would you agree?

Unexpected yes but I wasn't surprised really.

Hughes had shown a lot of improvement in his stand up but if he thought he could stand with BJ then that’s what happens.

The better man won.

Penn proved to be a serious problem for Hughes in all three fights. In their 2nd fight Hughes was hoping that they’re fight would go the distance.
