Nah
I didn’t actually see it…however, my cousin was there ironically and texted me like 100 times last night……I also spoke with Tomar earlier today….I was told the fight was good though…
Also..the Brunson kid that fought on the card…was a wrestler at my alma mater..he was a few years behind me…but I worked at the college while he was a student….multiple time All-American Wrestler….I think that was he debut…he’s training at a reputable camp here in NC…he could be a beast…

Brief recap of the show….
1. It was PACKED – over 3500 people – standing room only. Literally hundreds of fans were turned away.
2. The event was exciting, production quality was top notch
3. ALL the fighters were great! Huge props to all the fighters who busted their butts in training to put on an amazing show for everyone.
4. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Cageside MMA booth! We had a successful night of sales, thank you!
5. Nissen Osterneck’s fight was so fast – I don’t even know what happened (other than he won)
6. Tomar’s opponent was TOUGH. Tomar hit that dude was some SOLID shots and he kept on fighting.
7. They ran out of beer. One drunk female was quite disappointed in this and was asking us if we had any beer she could buy from us.
8. Brandon Garner was a ring announcer/commentator and looked smooth as heck in his Cageside MMA shirt.
Great show by Doug Muhle and the Carolina Fight Promotions!
Thanks Boomer!
We need to get you some MMA4Real T-shirts in stock….but yea…my cousin said there were well over 3K there…I know the venue only held between 3-4K or so.

has ufc ever had a fight night in either carolina?
sounds like you guys sell out alot of arena’s in your part of the country. you think ufc would notice this. what do the tickets cost? there always seems to be someone named macdonald. remember rob "maximus " macdonald in ufc. i think he was canadian and was choked out cold by jeff monson. that was a long time ago. i think there is still another macdonald fighting in ufc. it is a scottish name. did not know we had so many scottish people in the usa.

Actually, that Jones vs. Vera card is in Colorado. This card in Charlotte will supposedly be held at the Bojangles Arena (an older arena in Charlotte that will probably hold around 10,000 to 11,000 for this configuration). The rumored card is Florian vs. Gomi, Struve vs. Nelson, etc….
i'm looking forward to struve vs nelson
struve by triangle choke. i wonder if nelson will tap or pass out?
