vera is a +220 underdog

i think jon jones will easily beat vera. if it happens in the first round which i think the knockout will take place i would say ufc cuts vera’s contract. vera should have never said he would be hw champion and lhw champion of ufc. he has lost every big time fight where he was the main or co main event. that statement he made has now come back to haunt him.

i'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. i was building a house, i don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. bang. "unforgiven"

yea

they still probaby wouldn’t cut him though…although they should if he lost to Jones….because Jones would supplant him as the up and comer that Vera was supposed to be.

I don’t know, Vera is a good bet at +220 (one I’d take if I had any money over for betting right now) – spinning elbows and shit might be fancy, but I give Vera the stand-up advantage and he has solid greco-skills himself, enough to fend off Randy at least… might be a bad match-up stylistically for Mr. Jones.

lol

yea…Vera might pull some stuff outta nowhere….that’s the scary part about the guy…he just won’t let it out for some reason.

i would not mind seeing jones on the canvas

every fight i have seen him in he has dominated the stand up. i actually like vera but his mouth got him in a little trouble. i would not mind if he did get jones in some trouble to see how he would respond. jones has been just tearing thru people. sometimes when your on the other side of the coin it’s different. kinda like gonzaga and terrell when they were tearing thru people until somebody was getting the best of them and they did not know how to respond. i don’t think that will be the case with jones just b/c he is so fast. the guy seems like he could recover from just about anything thrown his way. i want an exciting and entertaining fight. i just don’t think we will get one.

This cat is a class act so far. If he can keep his image as exciting and clean cut as he has so far I think he will really become a big deal. ( Exciting being the most important of course..)
