Jimmy Ambriz ( 14-12-1) has been selected to fight Bobby Lashley at the upcoming Strikeforce: Miami show on January 30, 2010.
The news comes just one day after reports that Yohan Banks had been ruled out by the Florida State Boxing Commission.

I know you can’t knock somebody for making money, but Lashley’s an idiot for continuing to wrestle during the month he has a major MMA fight!!

They should have Banks + Ambriz vs. Lashley in one of them handicapped matches.
Either way, I’d still rather watch Hieron/Riggs

Why doesn’t Lashley try jusifying all the hype he gets by fighting a legit opponent, instead of bums.
Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...
Mostly because he's still a green fighter
..and not even a particularly good one at that. I think his biggest problem is that he’s paid too much to give him scrubs from the get go, but he’s not good enough to fight anyone that people know and respect. Sort of like Kimbo, but at least Kimbo had street fight experience.
