From Fighters Only:

Dutch heavyweight Stefan Struve will be facing TUF10 season winner Roy ‘Big Country’ in his next fight, Fighters Only can reveal. The fight is set to take place at UFC Fight Night 21 in North Carolina and at least one of the fighters is understood to have returned a signed bout agreement.

Struve is coming off that exciting win over Paul Buentello at UFC 107 where he was able to take that one by decision and he's currently riding a 3 fight winning streak.  Of course, Roy Nelson just won the TUF championship by knocking out Brendan Schaub at the TUF 10 Finale.  Personally, I'm not a fan of this fight as I think they should give Struve time to mature as a fighter.  We saw how he struggled at times against a veteran like Buentello who's primarily a striker that doesn't want to go to the ground.  I think Nelson could be matched up with someone a little higher in the division due to him being a veteran, plus he ain't no spring chicken as he's already 33 yrs old.  However, this one will take place in North Carolina so I won't complain too much :).

Ya know

They probably won’t go there…but G-Boro would be a nice central location….2nd largest city in NC…but Raleigh would be doper :)

lol, don’t crush my hopes like that :(

Greensboro is probably a little too spread out for them to come here but it really doesn’t matter where it is because I’ll be there

Big Country by mugging

methinks Dana hopes Struve makes Big Country look bad. other than that KO of Schaub….Nelson’s hardly impressed as of late, even against TUF level competition.

hell, 3 of Nelson’s 4 losses are against the only names on his resume you’ll recognize: Monson, Arlovski, and Rothwell. Not exactly top tier MMA HW’s. To hear Nelson tell it though, he’s like one of the top 5 HW’s in the world. I’m not sippin’ the Kool-Aid yet. Cantrell, Scherner, and Imes are the only other names I recognize other than Schaub. Hardly a who’s who of MMA in that division.

Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.

ROY by KO.

I bet if Dana liked ROY, more people would like ROY. Just sayin’.

it’s hard to like Roy IMO…he comes off the wrong way a lot of times…

I find it interesting which fighters people root for.

Specifically, some people get rubbed the wrong way by guys like Roy Nelson, Nick Diaz, Rashad Evans….yet they like other guys that rub others the wrong way like Hughes, Brock, Diego. Or Mayhem is cool but not Lawlor or Baroni, etc.. Yes to Hardy, No to Semtex. Know what I mean?

Food for thought…why do you root the way you do. (article idea for ya). ;)

sanchez is easy to rub you the wrong way

he shouts something that sounds like yeah(many times over) when he comes out to fight penn. then does the fastest run around the ring i have ever seen. then he does his prayer routine. should have saved some energy for the fight , nightmare. you got what you deserved. deserves did have something to do with this fight.lol.

i'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. i was building a house, i don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. bang. "unforgiven"

i actually wanted this fight to happen

nelson knocks down struve. nelson thinks his fat belly will help with his lay and pray(his weakazz elbows do no damge) then struve uses those long legs to get the submission. i hope no bk whoppers come up when nelson is gasping for air. lol.
