What Would You Guys Like To See Here?

Opinion pieces with some kind of twist (humor or whatever), in-depth analysis and interviews (with lesser known fighters) are always welcome – as far as straight news goes, there’s dozens of quality sites for mainstream MMA (if you visit MMA Junkie once a day you’ll be pretty up-to-date with all the goings-ons).

I’m always looking for ways to improve this place…thanks in advance.

on a serious tip, interviews with local fighters, guys from the Carolinas, is always cool. always. some interviews with some of the top trainers in the Carolinas would also be pretty cool. aside from the fighters, some great coaches and teams are preparing guys for fighting around these here parts.

maybe choose a different reader/member to include their picks in the “Staff Picks” thread for each event

thumbs up for weekly columns or columns following events.

How about a “Remember This Name” column…could be a monthly thing or whatever. It’s for guys you see making some noise in the future (distant or upcoming). Give some info/background/clips on fighters not everyone is familiar with. Some examples would be Kikuno, Rory MacDonald, Sho Nuff, etc. They’ve gotten more exposure recently but they could’ve been in your RTN column.

Do you have a column covering the odds on events? I know some of your sister/brother SBNation sites do that.

But speaking of things related to running/maintaining the site: the front page won’t load for me half the time, it will only show the first two blog posts and get stuck (loading some ad I think) — is this just me or everybody.

I’d like to see someone take the USA Today/SB Nation Consensus Rankings and put out a version with who and when each fighter fought last and who and when each fighter is scheduled to fight next. It would give you a better perspective on what the title picture might look like. Also, when an injury occurs to an announced bout, it would make it easier to see who might be moved around as a replacement.

My rankings are just one of the 20 sets of rankings that contribute to the Consensus Rankings…but I’ll make that change to my individual rankings…also..welcome to the site…and thanks for joining.

 I know we do quite a bit of interviews….with well known guys….and local guys here in NC…mostly via text…would you all like to see an increase in audio interviews?

BTW, that thing with the page only loading fully half the times has stopped occuring… nothing changed on my end.
